Mockup Composer

Create professional t-shirt mockups by placing your designs on custom templates with AI-powered positioning.

What is Mockup Composer?

Mockup Composer transforms your t-shirt designs into professional product mockups by automatically placing them on your custom template photos. Using AI technology, it handles the positioning, scaling, and perspective adjustments to create realistic product presentations.

Perfect for Sales: Create professional product photos for your e-commerce listings, social media, and marketing materials without expensive photography.

Template Setup Required: You'll need to upload your own mockup templates first. Templates are managed in Settings and reused for multiple projects.

Template Management
Understanding and managing your mockup templates

Templates are the foundation of your mockups. These are photos of blank t-shirts that serve as the base for placing your designs.

Template Requirements

  • • JPG or PNG format
  • • Non-transparent backgrounds
  • • Any dimensions (AI will handle scaling)
  • • Maximum 10MB file size
  • • Clear, well-lit t-shirt photos
  • • Blank shirts (no existing designs)

Best Template Practices

  • • High resolution for better quality
  • • Good lighting and contrast
  • • Straight-on or slight angle shots
  • • Wrinkle-free, flat shirt surfaces
  • • Consistent style across templates
  • • Various colors for versatility

Template Location: Templates are managed in Dashboard → Settings. Upload up to 20 templates that you can reuse across all your mockup projects.

Mockup Workflows
Two different ways to create mockups

Single Design

1 design → Multiple templates

Place one design onto multiple different mockup templates. Perfect for showing your design on various shirt styles, colors, or angles.

Example: 1 design + 5 templates = 5 mockup outputs
Cost: 5 operations

Multi-Shirt Template

Multiple designs → 1 template

Use a template that shows multiple blank shirts (like a family photo or flat lay) and place different designs on each shirt.

Example: 3 designs + 1 family template = 1 mockup output
Cost: 3 operations (one per design)
Step-by-Step Guide
How to create mockups from start to finish

2

Choose Mockup Type

Select either "Single Design" (one design on multiple templates) or "Multi-Shirt Template" (multiple designs on one template).

3

Select Templates

Choose from your uploaded templates. For Single Design mode, select multiple templates. For Multi-Shirt mode, select one template that shows multiple shirts.

Troubleshooting
Common issues and solutions

Template upload fails

Check file size (max 10MB) and format (JPG/PNG only). Ensure you have storage space available and a stable internet connection.

Design doesn't align properly

Try a different placement option or ensure your template shows a clear, flat t-shirt surface. Some heavily angled or wrinkled shirts may not work well.

Mockup quality is poor

Use higher resolution templates and designs. Ensure good lighting in your template photos and avoid very complex design elements.

Can't see my templates

Templates are managed in Settings, not on the Mockup Composer page. Make sure you've uploaded templates first and they've finished processing.

Understanding Costs
How operations are calculated for mockups

Single Design Mode

Operations = Number of templates selected

Example: 1 design + 5 templates = 5 operations

Multi-Shirt Template Mode

Operations = Number of designs used

Example: 3 designs + 1 family template = 3 operations

The submit button shows exactly how many operations will be consumed before you confirm the job.
