Getting Started with Mirrora
Your complete guide to scaling t-shirt design creation with AI-powered tools.
Mirrora is currently in beta - this means we're actively improving features and adding new capabilities based on user feedback.
What to Expect:
- • Occasional processing delays during peak usage
- • Some features may have minor bugs
- • Regular updates and improvements
- • New features added frequently
Current Focus:
- • T-shirt designs only - optimized for apparel
- • Graphic designs and typography work best
- • Complex photos may have variable results
- • User feedback drives development priorities
Before creating mockups, you need blank t-shirt photos to use as templates.
What you need:
- • 3-5 high-quality photos of blank t-shirts
- • Different colors/styles (white, black, colored)
- • JPG/PNG format, well-lit, no existing designs
- • Various angles if desired (front, angled, lifestyle)
Start with Design Replicator to generate multiple variations of a t-shirt design.
Recommended first approach:
- Choose "Single Clone" mode for quality testing
- Find a t-shirt design URL or upload your own image
- Generate 3-5 variations to start
- Review results before scaling to larger batches
- Bonus: Each design includes AI-generated titles and descriptions ready for listing
Use your new design variations with Mockup Composer to create product photos.
Best first workflow:
- Select "Single Design" mode
- Choose 1 design from your Replicator results
- Select 2-3 different template styles
- Use "center chest" placement
- Submit and wait for processing
Mirrora uses an operation-based billing system. Each AI task consumes operations from your plan.
Design Replicator
1 operation per output design
Example: 5 variations = 5 operations
Mockup Composer
1 operation per design placed
Example: 1 design on 3 templates = 3 operations
AI Design Editor
1 operation per edit request
Example: Each chat message = 1 operation
💡 Pro Tips for Managing Operations:
- • Start small - test with 3-5 outputs before scaling
- • Use Single Clone mode for quality testing
- • Plan your edits to minimize AI Editor usage
- • Each tool shows operation cost before submitting
Testing New Designs
- Use Design Replicator (Single Clone, 3-5 outputs)
- Create mockups for best 2-3 variations
- Test market response
- Scale successful designs with Multi Clone
Operations: ~8-13 total
Family/Matching Sets
- Create variations for each family member
- Use Multi-Shirt Template with family photo
- Fine-tune individual designs with AI Editor
- Generate individual mockups for listings
Operations: ~15-25 total
Bulk Production
- Test with Single Clone first
- Use Multi Clone for 50-100 variations
- Batch create mockups (Single Design mode)
- Organize results into collections
Operations: 100+ (high volume)
Design Refinement
- Start with existing design or URL
- Generate 3-5 base variations
- Use AI Editor for color/text adjustments
- Create mockups for final versions
Operations: ~10-20 total
Starting with 100 outputs
Always test with 3-5 outputs first to check quality before scaling up.
Skipping template setup
You need mockup templates before using Mockup Composer. Set them up in Settings first.
Using low-quality source images
Blurry or low-resolution images produce poor results. Use high-quality sources for best output.
Complex AI Editor requests
Start with simple edits like color changes. Avoid complex requests that combine multiple changes.
Quality First
- • Use high-resolution images (min 300x300px)
- • Test small batches before scaling
- • Choose clear, simple designs for best results
- • Ensure good lighting in mockup templates
Workflow Efficiency
- • Set up templates once, reuse many times
- • Organize designs into logical groups
- • Plan operations usage strategically
- • Save successful settings for reuse
You now have everything you need to start creating amazing t-shirt designs with Mirrora's AI tools.
